Subject: “Is a change in vocal loudness a first step towards becoming a medical doctor?” (Swiss Med Wkly. 2012;142:w13534)

The list of the authors of this paper needs to be changed post-publication. The reason for this is that while during the full study period Maria Rodenstock contributed to the study, and the work packages she delivered occasioned no dissent within the author group, the authors’ views diverged on whether her input met the requirements for authorship. After intensive discussion her contribution was deemed to be substantial and more appropriate for authorship than for an acknowledgement.
